  • Under The Bridge: Will take place this year on the Weekend of June 4th – 6th. More details to come!

  • Hats for Homeless: Donations this fall included hats for the homeless. Would you like to help knit hats for the fall of 2010? You can help in two ways:

    1. Donate unused clean yarn that you have lying around your house (do not purchase new yarn). Bring your donation to church starting Sunday, January 3 through 24 and put it in the designated box.

    2. Learn how to make hats with the donated yarn. Classes are on Friday, January 29 at 10am and 6pm (minimum 2 hours per class). Students will use a loom for knitting and the class size is limited. Sign up early on the sheet found on the Mission board near the kitchen.

For more information, contact Pam Hampson .

Note: For those interested in learning but unsure if this is your thing, I will provide some looms for teaching purposes and are available for purchase after the class. We will not be using knitting needles!

  • SINGING OUR WAY THROUGH CHRISTIAN HERITAGE:

Do you recognize the names of Isaac Watts, Robert Lowry, Fanny Crosby and Ira Sankey?  Who wrote the words and music to our favorite hymns, such as “Blessed Assurance” and “Sweet Hour of Prayer”?  JOIN US on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. to learn about hymns, the times in which they were written and what impact they have on our spiritual travels.  Ron McKee leads this study that includes singing the hymns being reviewed.  This is a great time of fellowship and study for greater understanding of our Christian heritage.  The group meets in the North Building across the hall from the church office.  If you’d like more information, contact Ron McKee.

  • KEEP THE INFORMATION COMING….about member needs: Trinity has a Member Care ministry that provides meals for members and TPC friends in situations such as family illness, surgery or hospitalization, loss of a family member or other times when a nice hot meal would help. There are two ways to help this ministry, one is to prepare food and the other is to inform the church office or Mimi Montgomery of a need. Please help us continue to support our members and friends by contacting Mimi Montgomery at 214-618-0942 when you have or know of a need.
